My Biography!

 Hello and welcome to my website. I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. All of my family lives down in South Florida except myself and my sister who lives in Tennessee. I am new to fourth grade this year and can't wait to learn new curriculum and teach writing this year. I have been a teacher for eight years. The majority of them have been teaching fifth graders. I have been through many challenges in my teaching career which leads me to why I moved from fifth to fourth grade. From being team leader in fifth to planning banquets and field trips and running the school store. I thought it would be a nice change of pace to change grade levels and challenge myself more as a teacher. I also wanted more time for myself and my family which all of those duties took away from. I have been very blessed in my life to marry a wonderful husband who I love very much. We are also blessed to have a four year old little girl who is the love of our lives. She is full of energy and loves life to the fullest. We also have two dogs who are full of mischief and trouble, even though we love them. Last year I lost my beloved cat Goldie to diabetes. I still have her picture up in memory of her. We also planted a yellow rose bush in honor of her in my back yard. We adopted a new cat this past year and his name is Shadow. I love to scrapbook and read. I am also getting back in shape and am working out when I can. I love spending time with friends and family and absolutely love to teach!  Click here to see my babies!
